‘Sell Like Crazy’ by Sabri Subi- Is it worth reading the book?
Have you ever come up with a genius marketing campaign strategy for your target market, with lots of fantastic deals and still made zero return on investment? Everyone seems to be directing you towards clickbait and digital marketing tactics, but have you ever felt the need to understand how exactly to do it winningly and actually beat your rivals in the same area? Have you ever felt that you’re not the best copywriter anymore? Are you aware that, compared with some strategic top 4 percent activities in your organization that can produce 64 percent of your income, 96 percent of your routine activities are actually very less productive?
If that is the case , then ‘Sell Like Crazy’ by author Sabri Suby is definitely your must-read sales strategy book that covers all these difficulties in your sales and marketing career in the digital era with a very detailed step-by-step formulas that nobody will tell you. Surprisingly, the book is exactly what it claims and more. I would say, initially most of you will be attracted to it because of the bright red cover with the strong title ‘Sell Like Crazy: How to Get as Many Clients, Customers, and Sales as You Can’. The book is as if speaking to you right from the moment you lay eyes on it because as business people, who don’t have a desire or at least responsibility to accomplish maximum selling potential?
A few months ago, when I was working in the lead generation team of a finance company, I was simply new in the cold calling industry and equally depressed from making only 5$ or 425 Bangladeshi takas per night. I was desperately searching for a way to improve my situation and stay ahead of my colleagues. One evening, I came across Sabri’s book that claimed to have a tailored step-by-step formula for growing sales of any business. Honestly, this book helped me get my many first successes not only in sales jobs but also in my academic and extracurricular activities.
At first, I loved the idea of the book and the way it was presented to me. I picked the book up purely from intuition and without giving any second thought. I can hear you saying, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ but with this book, I had to break the rule while purchasing because, why not? if the book is not getting a good impression from you at very first sight, especially when it is about ‘selling’ then are you really buying a good sales book? Probably not.
Now, ask me. Did I make the right decision?
The answer is YES! Anybody who has read this book will definitely wish to keep it a secret and for those of you who did not, I highly recommend you to turn the pages of the book and unveil all the master crafts to become the next champion in your digital sales and marketing career.
Some of my most favorite chapters from the book are :
How to use ‘The Godfather Strategy’ to craft irresistible offers
How to outwit and outsell your competitors
Where to find the best clients and ‘hyperactive buyers’ in your marketplace
The secret “scroll stopping” strategy for Facebook Ads
The book ‘Sell Like Crazy’ will have you covered with all the tiniest detail you need to know to overcome these sales issues.
Although I wish I had read this book two jobs, one failed start-up, ten business competitions, and seven university semesters earlier, I am glad that I have still read it as a young business and economics student. There were still one or two things I knew before reading the book but I had my personal takeaway too because sometimes having information is not enough unless we don’t know how and where to apply them. As an undergraduate student with an entrepreneurial mindset and interest in digital sales and marketing, I’d say this book is working like a tremendous mentor for me!
